Walk me through what happens when an invoice arrives.
Aanya Sharma
When AP gets one, it usually comes by email — sometimes PDF, sometimes Word. I copy the line items into NetSuite myself. We do about three thousand a month and the team spends maybe four hundred hours total.
FDE
What's the most painful part?
Aanya Sharma
The annoying part is the vendor master — half the vendors aren't set up properly so I have to chase the buyer. Honestly, I'm the only one who really understands the vendor master across all of India.
FDE
How long does the chase usually take?
Aanya Sharma
Anywhere from a day to two weeks. Some buyers respond fast, others ghost. We have a backlog spreadsheet I keep on my desktop.
